 The queries examine the following topics:

Possible inappropriate prescribing in view of a patient’s past medical history.

Appropriate monitoring of medications which necessitate regular tests to ensure that they are not causing unintended harm.

Potentially overlooking laboratory test results that look for people with biochemical evidence of hypothyroidism, chronic kidney disease or diabetes without the relevant diagnostic Read code.

Prescribing concurrently two medications which have the potential for a dangerous interaction.

Possible inappropriate prescriptions considering a patient’s age.
