This query library is currently being updated by PRIMIS+. It is only available to PRIMIS+ facilitators via the closed facilitator area on the Profile Centre. The latest version available currently is written to version 12 of the business rules.
The queries are written to the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) business rules specifications that can be found on the Primary Care Contracting site. The current version of the QOF contract framework is 17.
When the MIQUEST responses are loaded into CHART a summary sheet is displayed of the points achieved for the relevant indicators. This includes percentages currently being achieved for each of the quality indicators. It also shows the actual numerator and denominator from which the percentages are calculated. Practices can then look at the datasheet that provides data of one line per patient, arranged in labelled columns with built in capacity for sorting and filtering. This allows practices to quickly identify gaps in the recording of data.
Patients that are excluded from the indicators are highlighted in a different colour dependent on whether they have been registered or diagnosed less than 3 months, or have a global exception code |
