To support the new PRIMIS+ training curriculum, launched in October 2009, a dedicated Helpline has been set-up to assist those undertaking the training.
The Helpline is another way for learners to get support with e-learning elements of training and other issues relevant to data quality and information management.
Staffed by an experienced member of the PRIMIS+ Training and Support team, the Helpline has already dealt with a number of calls and email enquiries. Issues raised include: enrolment queries, support for online training and other more general training questions.
The phone line resource aims to supplement the help given to learners by their Learning Consultant (LC). PCT staff are still encouraged to make their LC the first port of call, should they require any assistance.
All enquiries are expected to be replied to within 24 hours and the reason for each enquiry is then investigated to ensure that the service provided is of the usual high standard.
